[personal profile] runpunkrun gave me three random objects

1. Poncho I remember when ponchos were in fashion briefly when I was a teenager. I was never one for following fashion but I must have succumbed to this at one point because I remember having one which I wore for a while before I realised that it was basically just a jacket without arms and my hatred of jackets kicked in hard. The only acceptable use of a poncho now is to keep dry while at an outdoor gig. Which, weirdly, means I have good associations with them now.

2. Daisy I made awesome daisy chains when I was little and would wear them around my wrist like bracelets.

3. Ladle I’m pretty sure we have a ladle in the kitchen utensil drawer but I can’t honestly say I’ve ever used it. I’m pretty sure George has, the kitchen is way more his domain than mine.

Bored? Looking for a time waste? Leave a comment and I’ll give you three random items.

Meme stolen from [personal profile] mific and [personal profile] amycooper because when I steal, I steal big! I feel like this may be extra hard as mific and I share a middle name so I don’t want to duplicate answers!

I saw that [personal profile] brumeier posted that she was taking part in this challenge and, despite her not tagging anyone in it, I decided to play along.

I first saw this meme on [personal profile] mific's page but I know a few other people have done this too. And I'm a statistics junkie so....

Rules: Go to your AO3 works page, expand all the filters, and answer the following questions!

319 Works

What’re your first and second most common work ratings?

General Audiences - 168 (53%)
Teen and Up Audiences -72 (23%)

What’s your most common archive warning?
No warning - 304 (95%)
Choose not to warn 7 (2%)

Least common?
Underage - 1 (0.3%)
Rape/Non Con - 1 (0.3%)

Do you consider yourself an adventurous writer?
Yes and No? I will try to write anything but I do find myself sticking to the same things a lot. I need to challenge myself more.

How many fics have you written in each pairing category?
M/M - 317 (99%)
F/M - 3 (0.9%)
Multi - 3 (0.9%)
Gen - 2 (0.6%)
F/F - 1 (0.3%)

Is this more accidental, or do you have preferences?
I very obviously have a M/M preference. Not to get too deep on you but I think this is because I identify as somewhere on the ace spectrum and I'm not 100% comfortable with the imagery of female sexuality because I struggle to identify with it a lot. That's why I mostly read M/M fic, and I think that reading preference is probably why I almost exclusively write it.

What are your top 4 fandoms by numbers?
SGA - 179 (56% - I actually thought that would be higher!)
MCU - 91 (29%)
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy - 32 (10%)
Agents of Shield - 14 (4%)

Are you still active in any of them, and do you tend to migrate a lot?
Writing wise, I'm only active in SGA these days. I don't tend to read fic for any of the other fandoms either except when I get the occassional craving to dip into the MCU tag. I still love MCU movies though and will keep going to the cinema for the Star Wars sequels even if I didn't love The Last Jedi. AoS though? Dead to me. Canon done me so dirty on that. I still mourn Fitzmack.

What are your top 4 relationship tags?
McShep - 172 (54%)
Hawksilver (Clint Barton/Pietro Maximoff) - 91(29%)
Poe Dameron/Finn - 32 (10%)
Leo Fitz/Alphonso Mackenzie - 14 (4%)

Does this match how you feel about the characters, or are you puzzled?
Yeah, that fits. Even if Hawksilver doesn't appeal to me now it really, really did at the time!

What are your top 2 most used additional tags, and your bottom 2?
Melissa, get ready to have your world view changed:
Top Two:
Fluff - 58 (18%)
Getting Together - 55 (17%)

Angst is all the way down at #7 with only 28 tagged fics! What? I don't even know who I am anymore.

Bottom two are:
Happy Ending - 14 (4%) usually tagged in conjunction with angst so you know that I make it better; not always a given with me.
Crack - 17 (5%)

What would happen if you combined all 4 of these into a fic?
Honestly? Something that doesn't sound at all like a respoftw fic, lol.

How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
I have four currently marked as WIPs.
One is a dumping ground for McShep drabbles which will be left open for eternity.
One was supposed to be a 30 day OTP NSFW meme for Hawksilver which, yeah, will never get finished.
Another Hawksilver fic which is also abandoned and never to be finished (sorry)
And the last one is one which never should have been marked as a WIP from my AoS days. I'll change that one to completed!

George and I spent a good half hour being entertained by the NY Times British-Irish Dialect Quiz. The quiz managed to pin us both down to the specific part of Scotland we were both raised in which is pretty cool!

Check it out!

I saw this trop ranking tool going about and I couldn't resist!

Here are my results! I don't think anyone is surprised by #1, lol. I'd actually put it fairly accurate even if #2 is impossible to find in my current fandom! And, ABO is 1000% my least favourite.
