George and I spent a good half hour being entertained by the NY Times British-Irish Dialect Quiz. The quiz managed to pin us both down to the specific part of Scotland we were both raised in which is pretty cool!

Didn't really work for me :(
My accent has changed as I moved around. However, it did pinpoint the area I last lived in in the UK which makes sense lol

Hmm, I guess I was easier to peg as I still live the same place I was born. It’s cool it picked up your most recent area though!

What I thought was quite cool was that as well as my actual part of Scotland being highlighted, it also picked up another part of Scotland where I have a lot of family!

That was fun! Being that I was raised in CANADA, I got the right answer:

Definitely not from around here are you? Your answers were closer to the average person outside of Ireland and Britain than anywhere inside it.
