Book Cover Challenge - Day 1

I saw that brumeier posted that she was taking part in this challenge and, despite her not tagging anyone in it, I decided to play along.

Rules: Post one book cover a day for seven days, showcasing some of your favourite titles (sidebar: I've extended this to books that made a difference to my life which doesn't necessarily mean that they're my favourites), with absolutely zero commentaries.

So, without further ado: Book Number One

Oh, man. Such a good book. Not to mention the movie, which had a cast of thousands. Great first choice!

I think because I had read and treasured the book for so long before I eventually saw the movie that I found the movie really disappointing, lol

I don't remember which I was familiar with first. I want to say the movie. I'd have been pretty starstruck when I saw it, being right around thirteen years old. That was back in the day when we'd rent a VCR and a pile of video tapes from the local video store and spend the weekend watching movies.

I read this book in either grade 7 or 8, can't remember. It was pretty amazing. Even after all these years, I remember it really making me reflect.

I think I want to do this book cover thing, too. I've seen it floating around all over the place for months. I just have so many books that I don't know where to start.

I was 13 when I read this and at one point in my life I pretty much knew every page by heart. ❤️

I’ve honestly just went with the first 7 books that came to me. I know I’ll second guess the inclusions later but it’s a snapshot :)

My only problem with this meme is that I WANT to read thoughts, comments, etc. on the books people are posting.

Finally getting to see others book cover post. I loved this. Its been so long ago, I need to find an old copy and read it again.

I did that very thing a few years ago which was my first time reading the book in almost 20 years!
