I got into a rhythm this morning and wrote a decent amount of words but now I realise that the scene I wrote needs to happen later in the fic...

I should be able to repurpose most of it into the later scene but, damn, seeing the linear progress take a step back is disheartening.

I shift scenes around all the time. I almost always end up putting the opening of a fic in the middle somewhere. My brain just gets away from me. *g*
