I guess check the summaries and tags and see. Someone pointed out they could have that whole vampire and human vibe, so if you’ve read those types of stories before then maybe it won’t be such a weird jump? If you’re feeling brave, go for it.

It's more about being intrigued as to the dynamic people see there because I just don't see this pairing with any pair of shipping goggles on.

Rodney and Todd on the other hand....

My first reaction is to go D: because I find human/wraith ships squicky.

If you try it out, you'll have to let me know what you think. I generally give those a wide berth because Wraith are icky and I don't want to read about my boys being with one in a sexytimes way.

I sometimes read it, as I can read any pairing with John in it. :)

Most of what I'm aware of is porn, although there's one extraordinary story Ichor, where John and a wraith are stranded off-world for ages and slowly develop a relationship. It's not a happy tale as John is utterly changed and is estranged from his team and from humanity, but it's very powerful and the writing really makes you believe how it could come to pass.

Unnatural Selection by auburn is the ultimate Todd/John and Todd/Rodney longfic, but If you want to dabble in the porny end of the John/Todd pool, (often noncon) try:
