respoftwI 1000% regret phoning it in last week at work. This week was full on crazy and I worked a stupid amount of hours trying to stay afloat. I really, really hate the month of May! There’s not been much down time because of the long hours but I did start watching Killing Eve this week which has been my 40 minutes of me time between finishing work and going to bed.
I’m really enjoying Killing Eve and it totally made me go and rereadbrumeier’s awesome dark McShep fics
I’ve been craving dark fic lately so if anyone has any recs please send them my way!
Weekends with George continue to be wonderful! We’ve been so busy enjoying the extra time together that the housework has taken a backseat but that’s a small price to pay (although we’ll have to spend a day next weekend catching up because the living room looks like a bomb site. We’re never going to be a neat household but it’s getting a bit much.)
I’ve not had much time to write this week but I have started back up with reading the Legacy series in the SGA novels. I ended up just skimming the Rodney bits during the first attempt but I’m determined to persevere this time! Who knows, I might even start up my reviews of them again...
