Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day 7

Day 7

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or check out some fanworks that are new to you.

I feel like I do this a lot anyway. I dabble in lots of fandoms, always seeking out new places to play. Not all of them stick, some of them I run a mile from and some become a forever home.

HOWEVER! After posting yesterday about wanting people to share tips on how to start podficcing I have decided to walk the walk and I went ahead and ordered an external mic just now. So, I’ve not quite jumped into Podfic but I’ve put a toe in the water!

We’ll have to see how my Scottish accent affects things...

External mic! That's awesome! I feel like external mics are cunning traps, actually, to get you into podficcing; I know I felt like having spent money I had an obligation to do the thing. :)
