Fandom Snowflake Challenge - Day 5

In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.

1. mcshep-everyday on tumblr My love affair with tumblr is waning but this blog (run by the amazing popkin16) is an amazing resource. As well as original gifs, fic recs and screenshots made by popkin16, it’s a fantastic place to see all the McShep posts made on tumblr as popkin will scour the site and reblog all the content she finds to this blog.

2. sga_news posts a weekly round up of all the SGA posts on dreamwidth which is a great place to keep up to date with what’s going on the fandom.

3. This is also a timely reminder to pimp romancingmcshep which is one of my favourite writing fests of the year! It’s all about romance, John, Rodney and happy endings. Posting begins on Valentines Day and the influx of happy fic always makes my February!

In other news, popkin16 and I will be posting about a brand new writing fest for Stargate Atlantis soon...watch this space!

A new SGA writing fest? The heck you say! LOL! Wow, I'm super excited to see what that's all about. You know I'm in! Even though I will undoubtedly regret adding another challenge to my plate. ::grins:: But how can I say no?

I've thought about creating a crosspost thing for here on dreamwidth, where it automatically posts here if I post to my mcshep blog. But since I reblog other people's posts, I worry about credit issues. Don't want to be accused of stealing~
