Now John has to deal with the troubles that come with living in Pegasus and helping Rodney with wedding planning while also keeping a lid on his own emotions. As it turns out, he's not too good at that last one.
why this should be read: I actually just stopped making this list and re-read this again, that's how great this fic is. I smiled all the way through it (again) and, seriously, the bit where John finally tells Rodney how he feels....there was so much squealing. Such a feel good fic.

Longer than his wait for his college acceptance letter; the idiots at Stanford dragging their heels over the decision to let a 13 year old kid matriculate. It even felt longer than the interminable two months they had spent waiting for the IOA to pull their heads out of their asses and allow Atlantis to finally return back to the Pegasus Galaxy.

Of course, it had been more than two months of waiting really but knowing how close he was to finally getting everything he had been waiting for these past 7 years made those final two months feel like a lifetime. But it was done. Finally. DADT was no more.

lol of course you love fics where one person is presumed dead ;) It's sooo angsty. I really love them too :D Weirdly enough, I'm not crazy about amnesia fic. I get too impatient to reach the point where they get their memory back and have to deal with what happened while they couldn't remember. I feel like it SHOULD be right up my alley, but IDK.
