Where has this month gone?? I can't believe it's December tomorrow. I seem to have blinked and missed November.
It's been a pretty quiet month to be honest. We had water works going on outside our house for the first couple of weeks which was chaos. Five way temporary traffic lights made getting to and from work very frustrating. We were also told that our water would be off 8am-8pm for an entire week only to be told on day 4 by a workie that it was a mistake and our house was actually served by a different water main and we were fine.
Still, they're gone now and we're back to business as usual.
Some rough news on the family front, my Uncle on my Mum's side has been diagnosed with bowel cancer and it looks to be pretty serious already. He's only 48. Life is so freaking fragile, you never know when it's going to crash around you. It sucks. It also makes you want to grab the people who are precious to you and hold on.
Speaking of precious people...George and I have been off from work this week. As usual, it's taken him a few days to adjust from night shift hours to real world living so we haven't done too much (mostly taking advantage of the dry weather and the double XP on Pokemon Go) but are heading through to Glasgow tomorrow for a couple of days.
Writing wise, I finally finished Encore (yay me) and have been busy working on my Secret Santa fic which is now ready to go once posting begins next Sunday. I have so much to do between now and Christmas work wise that it's starting to freak me out. I think my writing time will be pretty non existent once I'm back at work next week which sucks. I'll get through it though..I have to!
