I just typed up and deleted a long anxiety ridden rant and it made me feel a little bit lighter just to get the words out. I mean, I’m still sitting here an inch from panic but that’s better than the cm I was to it fifteen minutes ago.

I hope everyone reading this is coping with the shit show that is 2020 ok.

We’re all in the same storm.

((Hugs)) It is a pretty shitty storm isn't it, at the moment it is very difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just as we think we see the light approaching we're thrown a curveball. I hope all is well with you and those you care about. x

From the comments, it sounds like you are doing a bit better. I hope so. We ARE all in this together , and knowing that even though I haven’t posted, in so long, knowing that you all are still here is quite comforting.

I don’t know why I have been struggling with this Christmas season, but I can’t work up more than a MEH 😑 attitude.

After dealing with the pandemic, the fire in Oregon and the political sh*t show, yesterday we were concerned about flooding. Our tiny little creek, that is barely swimmable in summer had turned into a raging river. I normally never fear flooding, but by nightfall it had risen higher than it ever has and I joined my husband and son in their concern. Today, fortunately it is sunny and dry, but I thought a flood would be the perfect end to 2020.
