You’ve probably all saw that Joe Malozzi is doing polls on Twitter to determine the best SGA episode from each season. We’re into season 3 and that’s 3 for 3 that I’ve had to write in my choice because it’s not one of his four options.

Does that say more about me as a contrary fan or more about him that he really doesn’t seem to get which episodes people love?

He never got what the fans liked. He said, "I have a deep-seeded (sic) loathing for the hero archetype." And didn't realize that, during the mid-aughts, we needed heros more than anything. He treated Joe Flanigan very badly after Joe F called him on some bad on-set behavior, to the point of leaving Joe (and John Sheppard) out of the SGA Farewell video. He's also mostly responsible, along with Robert Cooper, for cancelling SGA in favor of SGU; they both wanted to do something "darker and anti-hero" according to Malozzi.

So no, it doesn't surprise me that he's out of touch. It surprises me that any SGA fan pays any attention to him at all, after all he did to destroy our show.

Malozzi? Pfft, what a jerk. He was/is so, so out of touch. I’m not going to get over feeling betrayed by the man for thinking we all wanted darker, edgier,
We want fun. We want the unbelievable chemistry of Joe and David.
