I’m sorry to hear that George is under the weather again. I think we just recirculate the ‘ick’ until hot weather burns it out of us. New job prospects are always such a gamble, I hope things will come out right for you. My mom always toyed with the idea of becoming a legal secretary, but she stayed in her position at the local community college her entire career.
I think it’s a little funny how we get about our home things as we get older. My 4th son who bought his 1st house last year texted me recently of a picture of his new refrigerator and said, “ I don’t know if y’’all think new appliances are sexy...” and I responded with “heck yeah!” But we discovered many years ago that we really aren’t carpet people so we tore most of the carpet out and replaced with hardwood flooring. In the cabin now, there is carpet in only one room, but I I had to get a carpet cleaner just for that.
