respoftwWork continues to be insane with no end in sight. Another staff member has been signed off sick following a horrible car crash. She was incredibly lucky not to have been killed, it’s really scary stuff! And another colleague is interviewing for other jobs.....so much change on the horizon! Cash flow problems are finally sorted though so that’s something. I really need to find time to sit down with my boss this week as the list of things I need her input on is now two pages long!
George and I spent our day off together through in Perth. Had a nice lunch but the service was super slow so we didn’t have time to go on the walk we had planned for afterwards but we still got some exercise and pokemoning in. Also found the time to have another pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks. I had never tasted those before this year but I am getting addicted. They are just so tasty! George has been training himself to like coffee and he loves them too.
I’ve decided to take a break from hurt/Comfort Bingo fills and concentrate on pushing forward on my reversebang fics. Progress is being made and I’m much more confident about meeting the deadlines for that now.
I also spent some of Friday afternoon watching SGA episodes and it reminded me how much I love the characters. Their voices were getting a bit quiet in my head but I’m getting the feel back!
