respoftwSo, I vaguely remember being off on Monday but it seems a very long time ago.
It was actually a fun day. There’s a public art project going on in Dundee at the moment where 80 differently decorated penguin sculptures are placed around the city and the surrounding areas. We went hunting for some of them on Monday. It’s school holidays so there were lots of kids about and it’s so nice to see how excited they get about the penguins. We still have 64 to find at some point.
I returned to work on Tuesday and it was full on. My boss is off for the next two weeks so as well as catching up on my own stuff, I had to get a handover on her ongoing issues. We got there in the end but it took some long days that left me pretty potato like in the evening.
The weekend has been quiet. I spent Saturday on the couch with Star Trek. I did have grand plans to go for a walk around my local park in the vague attempt to get some exercise but it was too damn hot.
It was Squirtle day on Pokemon Go today so we did our usual and headed into town. Slow start, not many people about until 11 but then there were almost too many to catch. George started feeling unwell during the day though so we skipped our afternoon plans and headed home. Had a nap, read some Spirk. (Yes, I ship Spirk now).
Roll on next week.
I managed to fill another square on my Hurt/Comfort Bingo card. That’s about it. Must do better. Oh, and I also submitted my ‘art’ for the sgareversebang. It’s not the art I wanted to submit because I left it too long to start and ended up doing something simple that I could finish quickly. It’s probably too simple and definitely sucky but, hey, it’s something!
