Fix Exchanges and Fic Rec

Every time I consider signing up for a multi fandom fic exchange I have to remind myself that, despite being a multi-fandom reader, I am completely incapable of writing anything other than SGA at this point.

I love fic exchanges but as soon as I see the form where I have to offer various different fandoms...I’m out.

It’s a shame because the feeling of receiving a gift work is one of my favourite feelings in the world; something cemented in my thinking again today when mific posted this super fun fic today:

I wrote fic! And it’s not McShep!

It’s no secret that I can ship Rodney McKay with just about anyone (even Donna Noble from Dr Who thanks to that one fic on AO3) but Jack O’Neill and Rodney has been a firm favourite since I read One Way Ticket by Tarlan back in my first year in the fandom.

There were 33 fics for this pairing (now 34, woop!) and I have read them all so many times, all the time wishing for there to be more so I’ve eventually put my money where my mouth is and wrote my own offering.

Please consider giving it a read. I’d love to lure some more people into this ship!
