respoftwThat’s my second year end file completely done and dusted and my third audit has started (four days letter than planned because the auditors who do this company are atrocious at sticking to a so the end is in sight!
My manager, the one who’s on maternity leave, came in on Friday with her baby who is super cute. I didn’t get old him which is fine with me because I think I must be missing whatever gene it is that makes women want to hold babies. I’m always panicked that I’m going to drop them, lol.
The temperature has stayed too hot all this week and sleeping has been hard. Even with the fan on max it’s still sticky and horrible. I know that these temperatures seem crazy low to a lot of people but our houses are built to trap heat and as soon as it gets above 18 degrees it’s not unlike living inside an oven.
I was stuck in the house all Saturday waiting on a package for George that never came but we were out and about today enjoying the sunshine. We stuck close to the coast so there was a bit of a breeze. It even close to chilly in St Andrews when the har came in mid afternoon. It was a good day.
I got a couple of small pieces posted this week. Another super angsty chapter of Three’s Company and a small PWP oneshot inspired by a tumblr post. With the end of our busy time at work approaching I’m hoping that I get more time to tackle something a bit longer soon.
