Day 6: What's a fandom that you wish had a bigger following?

Fandom can be a bit of a double edged sword. There are shows and books and musicians that I love and that I wish more people could discover and fall in love with too but the bigger a following and the more people that get into a fandom, the more toxic it can become.

That’s obviously a very broad generalisation and not going to be the case for everything but it’s enough of a deterrent for me that I’m pretty happy in my fandoms as they are.

That's a valid point. I've happily missed all the big dust-ups in my fandoms, and would hate to find myself caught in the middle of another one.

I feel you there. I've managed to avoid any big fandom kerfuffles in my time, probably from either being too much on the fringes or just being my oblivious self, but it's true, the bigger a fandom is, the more potential for unhappy drama there is.

Ah, toxic stuff just ruin so much fun in fandom. I just want to squee and enjoy what I love and let others enjoy what they enjoy.
