Good Omens - meh

I finished Good Omens today and I can’t honesly rate it better than a ‘meh’.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant are a joy to watch. I love love love love their Aziraphale and Crowley but when they weren’t on the screen it was a hard slog. I feel like the narrative function that laced through the series meant that we were being ‘told’ things a lot of the time rather than ‘shown’ them and a lot of it felt quite clunky maybe because of that.

I feel like if I ever rewatch it, it would be a fast forward through any scene without A or C in it.

Oh well, on to season 3 of Stranger Things!

All of my love for Good Omens is for Aziraphale and Crowley (and Michael Sheen & David Tennant - their interviews are a joy). I'm rewatching Good Omens for the second time, and yeah, I'm fast fowarding through everything but A&C's scenes. Still, I do love it <3

Once I complete my second rewatch, it's off to Stranger Things 3. That fandom is so interesting to me, because it gave me my first OT3, and it's not a juggernaut pairing. Oh well :D

Huh. Well, I enjoyed the whole thing. Michael Sheen and David Tennant were brilliant together, such chemistry! I liked the little boy who played the anti-christ.

but, ya know, I would still love to see David and Joe as John and Rodney being the angel and the demon.
