2019: 4-48 Life Update

Work was awful. I hate budget season. I’m this close (picture me holding my thumb and forefinger very very close together) to snapping. Two more weeks and it will all be done for the next year. Hopefully. I will be so fucking glad when it’s done. My colleague who has cancer has gone off this week to start long overdue treatment. Fingers crossed she pulls through it well. Honestly, she’s so close to retirement that I think if I were in her shoes I just wouldn’t bother coming back because this is her third bout and life is too damn short but who knows, I have a feeling she’ll be back as soon as her doctors say she can be.

George and I did some Pokemoning today around Dundee today, went for a couple of drinks in a new pub that we both liked, and are now sitting with our feet up and the heating on because it was baltic out there today.

Also, I have a tooth ache so I’ll be trying to get an emergency dental appointment tomorrow. I’ve had some pain off and on since before Christmas whenever I chew on the left side of my mouth and I had meant to make an appointment before it got serious but then this morning it started to hurt even when I wasn’t chewing..best laid plans and all that. Hopefully it just needs a patch up. I guess I’ll find out next week sometime.

Yikes for the tooth! II really do hope its NBD for you. I spent over a year getting some serious dental work done, fortunately, even the most grueling procedures are nowhere near as big a deal as they were even, 10-15 years ago. The only thing I wished was that they had paid attention to me when I. told them I cannot tolerate any codeine derivative's except Percocet.

It’s so much of a NBD that the dentist couldn’t find anything wrong! I’ve been told to rub sensitive toothpaste on it every night and if it gets worse or still hurts in two weeks to go back.

Frustrating! I’m not making the pain up!

Anyway, at least it’s nothing serious. Bright side.

Nothing wrong according to my dentist! Hopefully she’s right and it’ll clear up on its own.
