We had the auditors in this week at work which is always a challenge; having to balance your regular work with making time to sit with them and answer their queries. It looks like my second of three audits that I have direct responsibility for went well though with just a couple of minor changes needed - one of which we’re disputing. All in all it was a pretty productive week at work. At least, it was until Friday when I suddenly started throwing up from out of nowhere. I’m guessing I must have eaten something that disagreed with me or it was a very short lived bug because I was fine by Saturday. (And seriously, no one joke about morning sickness, my boss tried that and I almost bit her head off, lol) I’m glad it cleared up so quickly but I’m annoyed that I missed a chunk of work on Friday. It’ll put me behind for next week.

Saturday was Pokemon Community Day which is always fun. It was a beautifully sunny day for it, almost too hot for my flabby, pale Scottish body. There was a lot of sitting in the shade, lol. I missed a big chunk of the three hour event because I had an appointment at a bank to start the process of switching my current account following all the hassle I’ve had over the past two weeks but that’s all in hand now so I’m good. George came out of the event with more shinies than me this time but the two I got had a much higher CP than his so he still pouted.

We went to the cinema today to see Deadpool 2 which I really enjoyed. Can we just talk for a minute about how fricking gorgeous the actress who played Domino is? Wowza. George had a few grumbles about their take on Cable as a character and I do wish that we had gotten to know the character more but, hey, the film was already two hours long and let’s leave something for the sequel that I really hope we get. The humour was a bit hit and miss but I laughed solidly throughout and even shed a tear or two at the end thanks to the amazingly beautiful acoustic version of Take On Me that played through a certain scene. I must track that version down and download it.

Despite the desire to tackle something longer and meatier, life isn’t really lining up to allow that at the moment but I’m having fun playing around with the dynamic that I’ve created in Three’s Company. I got a couple small chapters added to that this week and I’m hoping I’ll be able to push through and finish off the first season of episode tags over the next two or three weeks.
